Welcome letter

The International Chair in Bioethics welcomes all of you to the 16th World Conference on Bioethics, Medical Ethics and Health Law.

The World Conference offers its participants an international platform for fruitful scientific discourse on more than 70 topics and subtopics in the fields of bioethics, medical ethics, and health law. Moreover, it is an excellent opportunity to create professional and personal connections with those who lead the field of bioethics in the world.

We are pleased to inform you that the number of centers (“Units”) of the Chair has recently grown and now consists of nearly 300 centers located in universities and healthcare institutions on five continents.

The Chair currently operates about 3,000 volunteers on the Steering Committees of its units. The International Forum of Teachers (IFT) has more than 1,200 educators in more than fifty countries.

The Chair operates 29 departments, a bulletin, a journal, a website, and the international committee for the annual celebrations of the World Bioethics Day.The Chair publishes educational materials for teachers and students, and holds local, national, and international seminars and conferences.

The Chair is a Cooperating Centre of the World Medical Association (WMA) and enjoys fruitful cooperation with the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA).

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:
Registration for the 16th World Conference on Bioethics, Medical Ethics and Health Law includes: Onsite participation in the 3-day conference, entry to all scientific sessions, access to the poster area, program and abstract book and coffee breaks (Work lunches and social program separate registration, see information below).

Conditions for cancelling registrations received: cancellation will be accepted up to 60 days before the event. After this date, no refunds are made (only name changes). For registrations cancelled up to 60 days before the event, refunds will be made up to 30 days after the event, with a penalty for operating costs (banking and tax).

Social Program Registration

SOCIALPROGRAM AND WORKING LUNCHES
The organization of the congress values the spirit of conviviality and sharing in a more informal environment after the work sessions. Therefore, there will be Working Lunches over the 3 days, a Gala Dinner, a Happy Hour and the Closing Dinner & Musical Moment.
